Office Receptionist
McSherry Halliday LLP – Ayrshire
– Experience necessary
– Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week
– Salary: Commensurate with experience

McSherry Halliday is an award-winning, well-established law firm serving clients based primarily in Ayrshire. We are looking to recruit a receptionist for our team.
Who we are looking for
The role will involve working within our office at Suite 1, Elliott House, Kilwinning Road, Irvine, KA12 8TG. Experience is necessary and training will be provided.
Key duties include: –
• Answering, making and directing calls. Arranging appointments and diary management. Collecting appropriate information to be passed to colleagues.
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Filing and scanning documents.
• Being the customer’s first point of contact when contacting McSherry Halliday at the reception in person in the office.
• Possible general typing.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: –
• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent written, typing and communication skills.
• Natural ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to professionally handle challenging situations, should they arise.
• Exceptional organisation skills and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Ability to use your initiative.
