We’re delighted to share the news that we’ve had some recent in-house promotions and success stories over the last few weeks within the team:

• Karen Wotherspoon who joined our team in August 2021 as a Solicitor has been promoted to Associate and Head of Residential Conveyancing within the firm;
• Natalie O’Donoghue, in addition to her primary role as an Accredited Family Law Paralegal, has been promoted to a supervisory position within our Life Services department, and will oversee the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney;
• Abbey McDowall has now completed her Apprenticeship with the firm (6 months earlier than expected!). The company who organised the apprenticeship were very impressed with the standard of her work and at how quickly she completed all of her assignments. We are therefore delighted to announce she is continuing with the firm as an Assistant in the Life Services department;
• Maeve Carville who joined our team through the Kickstart Programme in January 2021 has been promoted to a Life Services Assistant too;
• Evie Lambert has also been promoted to a Life Services Assistant and will commence her LLB in Law at the University of Glasgow in September;
• Melissa Allan, our Accredited Conveyancing Paralegal has recently started her law degree through the Law Society of Scotland and will begin the next exciting step in her legal journey to become a Solicitor.

Big congratulations to all of the team in their new roles, which along with the efforts of the rest of our talented staff, will further strengthen Team McSherry Halliday in the future!
